RUMMAGE HOUSE

Named in honor of Stephen Rummage, who went to be with the Lord in January 2016, Stephen was one of the first six New Song Academy Disciples of Kings Gospel Mission. He was battling cancer of the throat and desperately wanted to learn more about the Lord. We took him in, taught him, loved him, battled his cancer with him and cared for him. He lost the physical battle but fought the good fight and finished the race in Christ!

Our 2 Bedroom-2 Bathroom manufactured Rummage House opened its doors in May 2017, as KGM’s first sober room-and-board facility. Three of our graduates live there with one county trustee. It is a clean, well-kept example of a thriving household community. We praise God for His provision!
801 West 7th Street
This is our 3-bedroom 2-bath facility began in September 2017 as a sober room-and-board facility. Our goal is to house 8 men in a sober environment. This is a safe, healthy place for men to get back on their feet while they work. We also check in with them on a regular basis so that we may respond to any crisis or concern in their lives with wise counsel and a resource loop to help sustain their progress. So far it has worked well for our men… no more street life, just a caring community.
